But it can be helpful to have a clear idea of what you want, and generally that will mean that you should know which animals you are keen on seeing around the world – along with where you are likely to see them. Whales

A particularly common favorite for keen travellers is the whale. The appeal of these particular creatures is fairly obvious: after all, they are enormous and majestic animals which are incredible to behold, and getting to see a school of them is one of life’s great enjoyments, something which is often on the bucket list of many people. But the question is: where should you go in the world to see whales? As it happens, there are many destinations which offer decent whale watching tours, from the East coast of Australia to California’s seas. The destination itself is not so important as how you will manage to see the whales themselves, and for that it helps to bear in mind that you will need to take a professional tour or go diving with someone well experienced. Stay safe, and you could find that this is an incredibly memorable animal experience.

Tasmanian Devils

Some animals have a particular reputation behind hem, and it is primarily for that reason that you are keen to see them in action in the real world. A great example of this is the Tasmanian Devil, which for many people is incredibly different to the perceived image of it. A Tasmanian Devil is a relatively small and sleek animal, often caught sleeping under rocks, and it is known to be one of the cuter animals out there in the wild. Of course, there is only one part of the world where you can expect to see these creatures in the wild: Tasmania. So if you are keen on seeing these, you will need to make sure you are also keen on that part of the world too.

Lions

When it comes to seeing the magnificent and the huge, you can’t say fairer than lions. Often referred to as being the king of the jungle, this is one animal you only want to get up close and personal with if you really know what you are doing. The best way to see them, therefore, is obviously enough on a safari tour. Where to do that is up to you, but for the full experience you will want to go on a true safari in the African continent, as this is where you will see them in their genuine habitat.
